The Twins lost for the eleventh time in twelve games Thursday with a 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays at Tropicana Field. The Rays swept the four game set with Minnesota.

The Twins only managed four hits in the game against All Star Matt Moore, including a two-run bloop double from Joe Mauer in the eighth inning. Moore improved to 13-3 with the win, which was the eighth straight for Tampa Bay.

The Twins schedule does not get any easier as they open a three game series with the New York Yankees in the Bronx Friday night. Minnesota manager Ron Gardenhire has a career record of 21-59 against the Yankees.
