The Twins beat the LA Angels late Monday night by a 4-3 final score in Los Angeles. The Twins have now won five of their last six games.

Clete Thomas hit a home run in the top of the fourth inning off of Angels starter Joe Blanton to break a 2-2 tie, then Doug Bernier came through with an RBI double to give the Twins a 4-2 lead they would not relinquish.

Sam Deduno got the win on the mound for Minnesota, lasting seven innings and allowing only two runs on four hits and five walks. The righty improves to 6-4 with the win.

Glen Perkins gave up a handful of hits but worked 1.1 innings without allowing a run to earn his 24th save.

The Twins and Angels play again Tuesday night in LA.
