MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Twins have signed left-handed reliever Glen Perkins to a three-year contract extension.

The reported today that the deal keeps Perkins with the Twins through the 2015 season and is worth $10.3-million.

Perkins future with the club looked uncertain in 2010 after injuries and a desire to remain a starter caused a rift with management.

Last year, Perkins emerged as a reliable late-inning reliever.  He posted a 4-4 record with a 2.48 earned-run average.
