CLEVELAND, OH -- The Minnesota Twins' worst road trip of the season came to an unmerciful end in an 8-1 loss to the Cleveland Indians on Sunday.

For the fifth consecutive game, a Twins starting pitcher failed to make it to the fifth inning with Phil Hughes getting knocked out after allowing seven runs on nine hits in only three innings.

Meanwhile, Twins bats were silenced by Cleveland starter Corey Kluber, who went the full nine innings allowing one run on only three hits.

The loss is the Twins' seventh in the last eight games and drops their season record to 55-56.

The Twins (55-56) will have Monday off (thankfully) before hosting a three-game series against the Texas Rangers starting on Tuesday.
