If only for one night the Twins gave the Yankees a taste of their own medicine.

Minnesota rallied with a four-run eighth inning after Delmon Young blooped a bases clearing double. CC Sabathia had been dominant for the entire night until his exit after the seventh innings. The game (which for some reason was blacked out at my house) got off to a shaky  start for Brian Duensing, giving up four early runs. To his credit he settled in and completed seven solid innings. Matt Capps was also brilliant last night in two shut out innings. Joe Nathan came in and slammed the door with a 1,2,3, ninth.

It was nice to see the Twins come back late and actually hold a lead in New York, something they hadn't done in what seems like a decade.

With the win last night, it seems like the Twins will have a legitimate shot at getting a split in New York. That would definitely be considered a successful road trip for the Twins.
