The Twins beat the Fort Myers Miracle 8-7 Wednesday in exhibition play.  Nick Blackburn threw 5 innings with 3 earned runs allowed and both Joe Mauer and Sean Burroughs had 2 hits apiece.

The Twins begin the 2012 regular season at Baltimore Friday at 2:05, pregame on WJON at 1:35.  Righthander Carl Pavano gets the start on the mound for the Twins and righthander Jake Arrieta toes the rubber for the Orioles.
