The Twins got a walk-off 2-run homerun from Chris Parmelee off Andrew Miller in the 9th inning last night to beat the Boston Red Sox 8-6.  Minnesota went out to a 5-1 lead in the 2nd inning before Boston tied the game at 6 in the 7th inning.  Parmelee had 3 hits, 2 runs and 2 RBIs, Kurt Suzuki had 3 hits, 1 run and 1 RBI for the Twins. Brian Dozier had a 2-run double and both Trevor Plouffe and Joe Mauer had 2 hits for Minnesota.

Glen Perkins threw a scoreless 9th inning to earn the win.  Ricky Nolasco threw 6 innings with 3 earned runs but didn't figure in the final decision.  The Twins are 18-19 and will host Boston again tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Kevin Correia will start for the Twins and Felix Doubront will start on the mound for Boston.
