The Twins rallied in the ninth to tie their Grapefruit Leage game against Tampa Bay Sunday, but lost in extra innings.

Minnesota's Mitchell Boggs hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to spark a Twins rally to send the game into extra innings, where Minnesota lost 10-7 against Tampa Bay Sunday in Fort Myers, Florida.

The Twins scored five runs in the bottom of the ninth to come back from a 7-2 deficit.

Jamey Carroll was 1-2 with a run batted in, Justin Morneau went 1-3 and Joe Mauer finished the day 0-2.

Liam Hendricks got the start for Minnesota. The Australian walked one and allowed one run on two hits in two innings of work.

Two Twins pitchers heading for the World Baseball Classic were hit hard for the Twins. Brian Duensing allowed three runs on four hits in one inning of work, and Deolis Guerra took the loss after allowing three runs in the tenth inning.
