The Twins lost 5-2 at Seattle Sunday afternoon to lose 2 out of 3 this weekend against the Mariners.  Ryan Doumit hit 2 solo homeruns accounting for both Minnesota runs.  Denard Span was 1-3 for the Twins.  Nick Blackburn threw 6 innings with 7 hits and 5 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 0-4.  Hector Noesi threw 7 innings with 4 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win for Seattle.

The Twins drop to 7-20 and will host he L.A. Angels beginning a 9-game homestand and 3-game series tonight at 7:10, pregame on WJON at 6:40.  Lefthander Francisco Liriano (0-4) gets the start on the  mound for the Twins and righthander Jared Weaver (4-0) toes the rubber for the Angels.

The Twins are calling up shortstop Brian Dozier and starting pitcher Scott Diamond from triple-A Rochester and sending down starting pitcher Liam Hendriks. The Twins also placed designated hitter Justin Morneau on the 15-day disabled list with a sore wrist.  Dozier was hitting .276 with 1 homerun at triple-A and Diamond was 4-1 with a 2.60 ERA for the Rochester Red Wings at Triple-A.
