Our beloved Minnesota Twins got their first series victory of the season over the holiday weekend. It came at the perfect time, as the first place Indians were in town. A rain out on Friday caused the series to be shortened by a game, but the Twins have currently won three games in a row. Justin Morneau made his presence felt in his return to the line up over the weekend, driving in four runs over two games. Jason Kubel continued to swing a hot bat, and his go ahead double yesterday gave the Twins the lead for good. Kubel is hitting .349 this young season, and although that number won't stand, he has the potential to hit .300. Delmon Young should be back tomorrow, as the line up is slowly coming back together. The scrappy Rays come to Target Field starting tomorrow, and the Twins will be in payback mode for that series. I still have questions about the starting pitching,  and the bullpen is still a work in progress, but for now let's enjoy a three game winning streak on the off day.
