MINNEAPOLIS - The Detroit Tigers have now won three straight after blasting the Minnesota Twins 9-2 on Friday night at Target Field.

Phil Hughes lasted only five innings for the Twins, giving up four runs and seven hits. Miguel Sano had an RBI-double in the loss.

Michael Fulmer won his major league debut for the Tigers, lasting five innings.

The Twins are now 7-16 this season. They will take on the Tigers again on Saturday at 1:10 p.m. You can hear all the action on AM1240 WJON.
