DETROIT, Mich. -- The 2014 season ended today for the Minnesota Twins with a 3-0 loss to the Central Division Champion Detroit Tigers.

The Twins could not get anything going at the plate - managing only four hits off of Tigers starter David Price.

Twins starter Kyle Gibson nearly matched Price inning for inning until giving up two runs in the eighth.

Gibson for the game went 7 1/3 innings, giving up three runs on four hits and six strikeouts.

The Twins finish the season at 70-92, their fourth straight season with at least 92 losses.
