The Twins completed a weekend sweep of the lowly Houston Astros with a 3-2 win at Target Field. Minnesota is now 48-60 on the season, while Houston falls to 36-74.

Twins starting pitcher Mike Pelfrey needed 104 pitches to get through five innings of work. The righty allowed two runs on seven hits with three walks in earning a no-decision. Caleb Thielbar got the win for tossing 0.2 innings of scoreless relief.

Oswaldo Arcia, recently recalled from AAA Rochester, smashed a home run in the bottom of the seventh inning that proved to be the game winner.  Justin Morneau had previously homered for the Twins in the bottom of the first inning, a two-run shot.

The Twins play at Kansas City Monday night at 7:10.
