The Timberwolves beat the Detroit Pistons 97-91 for their first win of the season Thursday night at Target Center. The Wolves are now 1-1 on the year.

Thaddeus Young once again led Minnesota in scoring with 19 points, while Nikola Pekovic was the only other Wolf in double figures with ten.

The Timberwolves host the Chicago Bulls Saturday night at Target Center.
