Timberwolves Top Thunder Friday Night

The Minnesota Timberwolves enjoyed a rare bright spot in a bleak season with a 101-93 win over Oklahoma City Friday night at Target Center.

Nikola Pekovic was a monster for Minnesota with 22 points and 15 rebounds, and Ricky Rubio added 17 points and seven assists in the win. The Timberwolves led 53-48 at the half.

Minnesota is now 26-45 on the season and next will host Memphis on Saturday night.
