The Timberwolves signed their first and 2nd round picks yesterday to multi-year contracts.  Derrick Williams was the 2nd overall pick in the first round in June.  The 6'8 240 forward is expected to primarily play small forward for the Wolves.  He averaged 19.5 points and 8.3 rebounds a game playing at Arizona last season.

The Wolves also signed 6'5 guard Malcolm Lee to a 3-year guaranteed contract.  Lee was a high 2nd round pick by the Wolves in the June draft.
