The Timberwolves lost 106-84 at Oklahoma City Wednesday night.  Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 26 points and Russell Westbrook added 23 points.  Alexey Shved led the Wolves with 18 points and Nikola Pekovic chipped in 17 points with Derrick Williams adding 14 points off the bench.

The Wolves are 16-16 and will play at New Orleans Friday night at 7pm, pregame on WJON at 6:30.  The Wolves played their 2nd straight game without head coach Rick Adelman who is away from the team for personal reasons.  Assistant Coach Terry Porter has assumed the head coaching responsibilities.

The Wolves will play the next 8-10 weeks without forward Kevin Love.  Love has a broken bone in his right hand and will require surgery.  Love saw a specialist in New York Wednesday.  Timberwolves officials have hinted that Love could be lost for the season.
