MINNEAPOLIS - The Timberwolves trounced the Lakers on Friday night, scoring a new franchise record 143 points in the contest for a 143-107 victory.

Nikola Pekovic had a nice return from injury, scoring 26 points for Minnesota. Kevin Love picked up a triple-double with 22 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds in the contest.

The Timberwolves are now 36-35 this season. They'll return to action and take on the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night at 5:00 p.m. You can hear all the action on AM1240 WJON with pregame starting at 4:30 p.m.
