ALCS Game 3

The Detroit Tigers downed the New York Yankees 2-1 Monday night in game 3 of the American League Championship Series.  Justin Verlander threw 8 1/3 innings with 3 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win.  Former Twin, Delmon Young hit a solo homerun and Miguel Cabrera was 1-3 with 1 RBI for the Tigers.  Detroit takes a 3 games to none series lead and will host Game 4 tonight with a chance to sweep New York at 7pm.  See the game on TBS.  C.C. Sabathia will start on the mound for the Yankees and Max Scherzer will start for the Tigers.

NLCS Game 3

The St. Louis Cardinals will host the San Francisco Giants in game 3 of the National League Championship Series today at 3pm. (CT)  Former Twin Kyle Lohse will start on the mound for the Cardinals and righthander Matt Cain gets the ball for the Giants.  The series is tied at 1 game apiece.
