Thunder Bay broke the 3-all tie with a run in the bottom of the 8th inning off St. Cloud reliever Will Flor. Flor allowed 2 hits and 1 earned run in 1 inning to take the loss for the Rox. Billy Soule threw 5 shutout innings with 4 hits allowed but didn't figure in the final decision. Soule pitches in college for the Gophers. Phil Imholte was 2-2 and Mark Rhine was 2-4 with 2 doubles and 1 run scored for the Rox.
