He was 3-3 on field goals and made his lone extra point try in St. John's 27-22 loss at Bethel Saturday. Mattson made a season best 49-yard field to tie the game at 3 in the first half. St. John's finished their season with a 5-5 overall record.

Connor Bruns returned to the lineup and threw for 145 yards and 1 touchdown, Nick Martin threw for 54 yards and 1 touchdown for the Johnnies.
