Johnnie Basketball Upsets Augsburg in MIAC Tourney

The St. John's basketball team won 47-45 in Minneapolis against Augsburg Wednesday night in the MIAC tournament quarterfinals. The Johnnies are seeded 5th while Augsburg is seeded 4th. Andy Burns made the buzzer beater to lift the Johnnies to the win. Burns finished with 14 points and Aaron Barmore had 10 points and 10 rebounds for St. John's.

Johnnie Sports Update; Hockey Seeded #3

The St. John's hockey team is seeded 3rd in the upcoming MIAC men's hockey tournament and will play at 2nd seeded Gustavus Saturday at 7:30pm. St. John's finished the regular season with a 9-7-0 record in the MIAC and 11-12-2 overall mark.

Bethel beat St. John's 67-63 Wednesday night. Andy Burns led the Johnnies with 18 points, Aaron Barmore added 13 points and Seth Marx added 11 points. Bethel out-rebounded the Johnnies 33-25.
