In game 1 Connor Cline was 3-4 with 1 RBI and Max Foster drove in a pair of runs for the Johnnies. Connor Cline threw 6 innings with 6 hits and 2 earned runs to get the win. St. John's head coach Jerry Haugen reaches win #650 in his career.
