SCSU Hockey Preview; #15 SCSU Hosts #6 North Dakota [AUDIO]
The 15th ranked St. Cloud State men's hockey team hosts #6 North Dakota Friday night at 7:37 and Saturday night at 7:07. The Huskies moved up in the USCHO.com Division I poll this week from #18 to #15. North Dakota dropped from #5 to #6. The Huskies are 5-3-0 this season and are coming off a split at #3 Denver this past weekend.
SCSU Hockey to Play This Weekend Without Hanowski
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play without one of their top players Ben Hanowski this week against 6th ranked North Dakota. Hanowski took a hard hit against Minnesota State-Mankato on October 27. Hanowski's injury has not been disclosed and he was re-evaluated this week. Head coach Bob Motzko wouldn't disclose the injury but it's suspected to be head related.

SCSU Men’s Hockey Preview; Hanowski Out; Honors for 2 [AUDIO]
The 18th ranked St. Cloud State men's hockey team will play at #3 Denver at 8:37 (CT) Friday night and 8:07pm (CT) on Saturday. The Huskies are 4-2-0 on the season and have won 4 games in a row. The Huskies will have to play without forward Ben Hanowski who's out with an undisclosed injury after taking a major hit last weekend against Minnesota State-Mankato.
SCSU Men’s Hockey Completes Sweep
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team completed a weekend sweep of Alabama-Huntsville 4-0 Saturday after winning 8-3 on Friday night. Nic Dowd, Andrew Prochno, Drew LeBlanc and Kalle Kosilla each scored a goal for the Huskies and Ryan Faragher had 18 saves to earn the shutout in net.
SCSU Hockey Preview; Huskies Host Alabama-Huntsville [AUDIO]
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will host the University of Alabama-Huntsville Friday and Saturday nights at the National Hockey Center in their home openers. The Huskies are 0-2 after dropping a pair of games at New Hampshire last weekend. Sophomore Ryan Faragher is the top goaltender this season with Mike Lee graduating. The Huskies return Drew LeBlanc, and Ben Hanowski amongst others.
SCSU Men’s Hockey Falls 4-2 at New Hampshire
The St. Cloud State men's hockey team was swept at New Hampshire this weekend falling 4-2 on Saturday night. SCSU tied the game at 1 apiece in the first period with a goal from Kevin Gravel. New Hampshire took a 2-1 lead in the 2nd when Joey Holka scored a goal for the Huskies to tie the game. New Hampshire took a 3-2 lead in the 2nd period and added a goal in the 3rd.
