#12 Huskies Lose 2-1 at MN-Duluth

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team lost 2-1 Friday night at Minnesota-Duluth. SCSU jumped on top 1-0 with a Kalle Kosilla goal in the first period but UMD tied the game at 1 in the 2nd period before scoring the game-winner in the 3rd period.

SCSU’s Hanowski Could Return This Week [AUDIO]

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team may get one of their top players game from injury this week. Senior forward Ben Hanowski suffered a head injury October 27 against Minnesota State-Mankato and hasn't played in a game since.

SCSU’s Hanowski is Hoping to Return November 23

St. Cloud State head coach Bob Motzko says the Huskies are targeting November 23 for the return of senior forward Ben Hanowski. Hanowski has been out with an undisclosed head injury since October 27 when to took a hit to the boards against Minnesota State-Mankato.

SCSU Hockey Tops #6 North Dakota 5-2

The 15th ranked St. Cloud State men's hockey team downed #6 North Dakota 5-2 Saturday night to earn a split in the weekend series. SCSU fell behind 1-0 but scored 3 straight goals to lead 3-1 in the 2nd period. UND cut the lead to 3-2 but SCSU scored 2 goals in the 3rd period to ice the win.

SCSU Men’s Hockey Completes Sweep Of Mavericks

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team beat Minnesota State-Mankato 5-1 Saturday to complete a weekend sweep. The Huskies also won 5-1 on Friday night. Cory Thorson scored in the 2nd period to break a scoreless tie and SCSU scored 4 3rd period goals led by Nic Dowd's game-winner early in the 3rd period.

SCSU Men’s Hockey Tops MSU-Mankato 5-1

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team opened the WCHA schedule with a 5-1 win over Minnesota State-Mankato Friday night. Ben Hanowski scored the first 2 goals of the game for the Huskies in their 3-goal 1st period. Drew LeBlanc finished with 1 goal and 3 assists for the Huskies. Nic Dowd and Kalle Kossila each scored a goal as well for the Huskies.

SCSU Hockey Preview; Huskies Host Mavericks This Weekend [AUDIO]

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team will open the WCHA season this weekend at home against Minnesota State-Mankato this Friday and Saturday. SCSU hosts the Mavericks at 7:37 Friday night and at 7:07 on Saturday night. St. Cloud State is 2-2-0 after sweeping Alabama-Huntsville 8-3 and 4-0 last weekend. MSU-Mankato is 2-0-2 this season. Mankato tied and beat Huntsville 2 weeks ago.

SCSU Men’s Hockey Falls at New Hampshire

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team began the season with a 5-3 loss at New Hampshire Friday night. Andrew Prochno, Ben Hanowski and Tim Daly each scored a goal for the Huskies. Ryan Faragher had 34 saves for SCSU. The Huskies tied the game at 2 in the 2nd period before New Hampshire scored 3 straight goals.

SCSU Hockey Gets Votes In USCHO.com Poll

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team received votes in this week's USCHO.com Division I men's college hockey poll. SCSU earned 78 points and are 3 points out of the 20th spot in the poll. Boston College is ranked #1 followed by the Gophers, Michigan, North Dakota and Union in the top 5. Denver is ranked #8, MN-Duluth is #12, and Wisconsin is ranked #18.

SCSU Men’s Hockey Picked 6th In WCHA

The St. Cloud State men's hockey team is picked to finish 6th in the WCHA preseason media poll. The Gophers are picked to win the conference title followed by North Dakota, Denver, Wisconsin, Minnesota-Duluth, St. Cloud State, Colorado College, Nebraska-Omaha, Michigan Tech, Minnesota State-Mankato, Bemidji State and Alaska-Anchorage.
