The St. Cloud State men's basketball team lost 62-49 at Michigan State Friday night in an exhibition game. SCSU trailed 33-26 at halftime and couldn't catch up in the 2nd half. The Huskies were led by Connor Neihaus with 10 points. All 13 players on the SCSU roster played including Tom Izzo's nephew Kevin Levandowski who played 15 minutes for SCSU and had 3 points.
SCSU Basketball Signs 4
The St. Cloud State Basketball team signed 4 players to national letters of intent Thursday. Three of the 4 are from Wisconsin. The players are 6'3 guard Jordan Poydras from De Pere, Wisconsin, 6'2 guard Tyson Kalien from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, 6'5 forward Seth Mortag from Brookfield, Wisconsin and transfer guard Preston McCourt from Dakota County Tech College in Eagan.

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team lost 76-64 to 13th ranked Metro State Sunday night in the 2nd round of the NCAA Division II tournament in Golden, Colorado. The Huskies played without starting center Tim Bergstrasser and were outrebounded 39-23. Theo Rothstein led the Huskies with 15 points and Brett Putz added 9.

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team won their opening round game of the NCAA Division II tournament 77-72 over Bemidji State Saturday. Tim Bergstrasser had 22 points and 7 rebounds and Shaun Jensen had 14 points for the Huskies. SCSU outrebounded Bemidji State 36-22.

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team lost 64-53 in the NSIC/Stanford Health Tournament quarterfinals to Winona State Wednesday night. SCSU shot just 30 percent from the field while Winona State shot 38 percent. Shaun Jensen led the Huskies with 20 points and Theo Rothstein added 10 points and 9 rebounds.

The St. Cloud State men's and women's basketball teams both lost at home to Concordia-St. Paul Saturday afternoon to close the regular season. The SCSU men fell 93-89 after the women lost 68-65. The St. Cloud State men trailed by 9 at halftime and couldn't catch up in the 2nd half. Tim Bergstrasser led the Huskies with 21 points and 10 rebounds and Shaun Jensen added 24 points for SCSU. The St. Cloud State men finish the regluar season with a 19-7 record and 15-7 mark in the NSIC.

The St. Cloud State men's and women's basketball team were swept at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota Saturday. The SCSU men lost 79-72 after the SCSU women lost 67-50. The SCSU men led 40-27 at halftime but were outscored 52-32 in the 2nd half. Brett Putz led the Huskies with 19 points and Theo Rothstein added 16 points for St. Cloud State. The SCSU men drop to 15-6 in the NSIC and 19-6 overall.

The St. Cloud State men's basketball team won 87-83 in overtime at Northern State in Aberdeen, South Dakota Friday night. The win is the 300th in the career of head coach Kevin Schlagel. Brett Putz led the Huskies with 25 points and Theo Rothstein added 17 points for SCSU. St. Cloud State trailed by 4 at halftime.

The SCSU men got a putback basket from Tim Bergstrasser to complete their comeback. SCSU trailed by 13 points with 7:46 left in the game. Brett Putz led the Huskies with 22 points.
