Lucas Long threw 5 1/3 innings with 9 hits and 3 earned runs allowed to get the win for the Rox in game 1. Adam Maxon threw a scoreless 7th inning for the save. Jamie Simpson was 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Carlos Lopez went 2-3 with 1 run and 1 RBI.
