Rox Thump Thunder Bay In Series Opener Monday

The Rox beat up on Thunder Bay Monday night in a 12-3 shellacking at Joe Faber Field. St. Cloud second baseman Chris Paul was 5-5 in the win.

The Rox sent 13 hitters to the plate in a seven-run seventh inning to distance themselves from the Border Cats.

Adam Martin hit his eighth home run of the season and the Rox offense exploded for 14 runs over the game’s final five innings in a 14-8 win at Mankato Sunday night. The game was called after eight innings due to rain in the area.

The Duluth Huskies topped the St. Cloud Rox 1-0 in eleven innings Monday night at Joe Faber Field. Duluth swept the Rox in the three game series to improve to 19-13 on the season.
