July 20, 2012 The Rox lost 7-3 at Waterloo Thursday night. Waterloo salvages the final game of the 3-game series. Waterloo scored 3 runs in the 3rd inning and added 3 more runs in the 5th inning. St. Cloud scored 3 runs in the 9th inning. Boo Vazquez went 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Adam Martin was 1-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI for the Rox. Andy Urban allowed 6 runs (4 earned) in 4 innings to take the loss for St. Cloud.
July 19, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox won their 2nd straight game 7-6 at Waterloo Wednesday night. Boo Vazquez singled in Adam Martin in the 9th inning to break a 6-all tie to lift the Rox to the win. Nick Tanielu went 3-4 with 2 runs scored and 1 RBI, Tony Skjefte went 2-3 with 2 RBIs and Vazquez went 2-3 with 2 RBIs for St. Cloud. Ty Jackson threw a scoreless 8th inning for the win and Adam Maxon threw a scoreless 9th inning for the save.
July 18, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox won 4-2 at Waterloo Tuesday night to begin a 3-game series. Zach Hirsch threw 8 innings with 4 hits and 2 earned runs allowed with 7 strikeouts to get the win. Adam Maxon threw a scoreless 9th inning to grab the save. Chris Paul was 2-4 with a triple and 2 RBIs and Boo Vazquez had 3 hits for St. Cloud.
July 17, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox lost 8-2 at home against Mankato Monday night. Mankato scored 4 runs in the 3rd inning. Andy Henkemeyer went 3-4 and Boo Vazquez hit a solo homerun for the Rox. July 16, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox downed Mankato 14-8 Sunday to get back to 500 in the 2nd half of the Northwoods League season. St. Cloud scored 4 runs in the 4th inning, had 2 runs in the 6th inning and chipped in 3 more runs in the 7th. Tony Skjefte was 3-6 with a homerun, 2 runs scored and 3 RBIs and Phil Imholte hit a 2-run homerun and had 3 RBIs for the Rox. Chris Paul added 2 hits and 2 RBIs for St. Cloud.
July 13, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox lost 5-2 Thursday night in Willmar. Willmar went out to a 3-0 lead before St. Cloud got on the scoreboard and the Rox never led. Andrew Urban threw all 8 innings with 8 hits and 5 runs (3 earned) to take the loss for the Rox. Tony Skjefte and Andy Henkemeyer each had 2 hits for the Rox and Boo Vazquez was 1-3 with a run scored and 1 RBI.
July 12, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox lost 4-3 at Willmar Wednesday night. Willmar broke the 3-all tie with a run in the 7th inning. Carlos Lopez went 2-3 with a homerun and 2 RBIs and Phil Imholte drove in a run for the Rox. Alex Roberts threw 1 1/3 innings with 4 hits and 1 earned run allowed to take the loss in relief. Tadd Johansen threw 5 innings with 7 hits and 3 earned runs allowed but didn't figure in the final decision.
July 11, 2012 The St. Cloud Rox used a balanced attack to beat Willmar 18-5 at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud Tuesday night. Carlos Lopez led the Rox going 2-4 with 3 runs scored and 1 RBI, Jamie Simpson was 2-3 with 2 runs scored and 2 RBIs and Erik Kozel was 2-2 with a run and 2 RBIs for St. Cloud. Zach Hirsch threw 8 1/3 innings with 9 hits and 4 earned runs allowed to get the win.
