SCSU scored 2 first inning runs and held on to win. Mike Jurgella was 2-3 with 1 RBI and both Joey Benke and Brian Hansen had 2 hits apiece and 1 run scored. Scott Leiser threw 7 innings with 6 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win. MSU-Mankato defeated Augustana 10-1 to advance to the championship to play SCSU again.
