The 9th ranked Rocori boys basketball team begins the 2012-2013 tonight when they play at Tech against the Tigers. Tech is 0-2 and is coming off a 80-41 loss at home to Stillwater Saturday.
The Rocori boys basketball team will play top seeded Minneapolis Washburn at 10am Wednesday morning at Williams Arena in the Class 3A state quarterfinals. Hear the game on AM 1390-the Fan with Ty James and Chris Chapman calling the action. Rocori is 18-11 on the season while Washburn is 27-2.
The Rocori boys basketball team is headed to the Class 3A State tournament after beating Delano 52-49 in the Section 53A final Thursday night at St. Cloud State's Halenbeck Hall. Nate Meyer and Mac Mueller led a balanced Spartan attack with 11 points apiece and Sam Moriarty had 10 points for Rocori. The Spartans improve to 18-11 and go to the state tournament for the 13th time under head coach Bob Brink.
The Rocori boys basketball team plays tonight against Delano in the section 53A finals at St. Cloud State's Halenbeck Hall. The Spartans are 17-11 and seeded first in the section. Delano is 22-6 and seeded 2nd in the section. Tip-off at 7pm tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan with Ty James and Chris Chapman at 6:50.
The Rocori boys basketball team defeated Orono 53-49 Saturday afternoon in the section 53A semifinals at St. Cloud State University. Rocori will play the Delano/Big Lake winner in the section 53A title game Thursday March 15 at 7pm. Hear the game on WJON.

(Apollo is 9-17 overall. Willmar wins CLC title outright with a 12-4 record)
Tonight is also the final regular season game on the bench as a head coach for Bob Brink. Brink has been the head coach at Rocori for the past 42 years and has coached for the last 51 years. The 74-year old has amassed 936 wins, which is 2nd all-time behind Bob McDonald at Chisholm. Brink is has sent Rocori to 12 state tournaments including a 26-0 season in 1988 when Rocori won the Class AA state title.
