The Minnesota Timberwolves hit the road last night to face the New Orleans Pelicans.

Former St. Cloud Tech star Nate Wolters signed a 10-day contract with the New Orleans Pelicans today. The 6'4 guard was released earlier with month by Milwaukee when the Bucks signed veteran Kenyon Martin.

Everything seemed to fall the New Orleans Pelicans' way Friday night, as they scored 80 points in the first half and beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 139-91.

The Minnesota Timberwolves jumped out to a 33-14 lead after one quarter and never looked back in a 115-86 blowout over New Orleans Saturday night at Target Center. The win snapped a six game losing streak for Minnesota. Dante Cunningham led the Wolves (18-26) in scoring with 18 points on 9-9 shooting, but point guard Ricky Rubio stole the show...

The NBA's New Orleans Hornets will officially change the name of their franchise to the New Orleans Pelicans at a news conference on Thursday, according to a Yahoo! Sports source. The team will also debut an entirely new color scheme of blue, gold and red. Several logos fitting that description have been leaked online, but none has yet been deemed official.
