Bouchard took an inadvertent elbow to the head a week ago against Vancouver. He missed a combined 104 games over 2 seasons from 2009-2011 because of a previous concussion. The Minnesota Wild downed San Jose 5-4 in an overtime shootout Tuesday night. Mikko Koivu scored the game-winning goal in the shootout. Matt Cullen scored a goal in regulation and one in the shootout. Cal Clutterbuck had a goal and an assist and Casey Wellman had 2 assists for the Wild. Josh Harding had 34 saves for Minnesota.

Bouchard Out With Another Concussion

The Minnesota Wild will play without Pierre-Marc Bouchard again after he was diagnosed with another concussion. Bouchard was scratched from Tuesday night's game against San Jose. He missed all but 1 game in the 2009-2010 season with a severe concussion. Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher says Bouchard's symptoms this time are "nowwhere near as severe" as 2 years ago.
