Liam Hendriks thew 6 1/3 innings with 5 hits and 3 earned runs allowed to take the loss and drop to 0-5. Alex Rios hit a 2-run homerun off Hendriks.
June 26, 2012 The Twins won 4-1 at home against the Chicago White Sox Monday night. Francisco Liriano threw 7 innings with 4 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win and improve to 2-7. Minnesota scored 1 run in the 1st inning and added 2 more runs in the 2nd. Joe Mauer was 3-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Ben Revere was 4-5 for Minnesota. Mauer is hitting .323 while Revere is now hitting .331. Jared Burton threw a scoreless 9th inning to get his 2nd save in as many days.
June 25, 2012 The Twins came from behind Sunday afternoon to beat the Reds 4-3. Josh Willingham hit a 2-run homerun off Aroldis Chapman in the 9th inning to turn a 3-2 deficit to a 4-3 lead. Trevor Plouffe hit a solo homerun and Joe Mauer was 2-4 with a run scored for Minnesota. Scott Diamond threw 8 innings with 8 hits and 3 earned runs to get the win and improve to 6-3. Jared Burton threw a scoreless 9th inning to get the save.
June 23, 2012 The Twins lost 6-0 in Cincinnati to the Reds Saturday afternoon. Johnny Cueto threw 7 shutout innings with 3 hits allowed and 9 strikeouts for the win for the Reds. Brian Duensing made the start for the Twins and allowed 4 hits and 4 earned runs in 3 innings to take the loss. The start was the first this season for Duensing. Joe Mauer was in the lineup at first base with Justin Morneau getting the day off. Mauer, Josh Willingham and Ryan Doumit each had 1 hit for the Twins. Mauer had missed 4 games with a bruised quad.

Liam Hendriks allowed 8 hits and 3 earned runs to take the loss and drop to 0-4. His ERA is 7.39. Justin Morneau was 2-3 and Ryan Doumit went 1-4 and drove in the lone Twins' run.

Joe Mauer was 3-4 with 2 RBIs but left the game early with a bruised right quadriceps. Jame Carroll was 4-7 with 2 runs and 1 RBI for the Twins. Nick Blackburn started the game and allowed 9 hits and 4 earned runs in 6 innings and didn't figure in the final decision. Anthony Swarzak threw a scoreless 15th inning to get the win.
June 16, 2012 The Twins lost 5-3 at home to Milwaukee Friday night to drop their 3rd straight game. Matt Capps allowed a 2-run homerun to Martin Maldonado in the 9th inning to break the 3-all tie. Trevor Plouffe was 2-4 with 2 solo homeruns to increase his homerun total to 14 this season. Brian Dozier added 3 hits for the Twins.
