Sartell's Mike Spanier is retiring from the NFL after 21 seasons in the league. Sunday's Pro Bowl will be his final game. Mike was hired by Jerry Seeman in 1999. He wore #90 and worked as a line judge.
The NFL Officials have an agreement to end the lockout with the NFL and Sartell's Mike Spanier is one of the officials heading back to work this weekend. Mike is a line judge and has been assigned to work the Carolina at Atlanta game this Sunday. The officials will gather in Dallas for a referees clinic on Friday and will vote Saturday morning to ratify the new agreement between the officials union and the NFL.
