The Huskies led 35-0 at halftime and were never threatened. SCSU outgained Mary 532-286. Michael Walker ran for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns and Phil Klaphake threw for 187 yards and 4 touchdowns for SCSU. Renard Robinson had 3 catches for 85 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Huskies.

Duluth beat SCSU in the 2nd round of the NCAA tournament last season.
