Buffalo (4-6) jumped out to a 19-7 halftime lead, thanks to four field goals from Rian Lindell and Leodis McKelvin's 79-yard, first-quarter punt return for a score. Miami (4-6) attempted to rally behind a 2-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill to Devone Bess with 8:42 to play, but the Dolphins did not get any closer. Tannehill finished with 141 passing yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.

The Bills' defense allows an NFC-high 31.7 points per game and an AFC-high 410 yards per contest. Averaging 143.1 yards per game on the ground, Buffalo (3-6) has the league's sixth-best running game. The Dolphins' run defense must improve on the 177 rushing yards it allowed to the Titans last week.
