Green Bay 35 – Chicago 21 Aaron Rodgers threw for 283 yards and five touchdowns, and the Green Bay Packers beat the Chicago Bears 35-21 on Christmas night. With the victory, Green Bay (14-1) clinched home-field advantage throughout the NFC title game. Chicago (7-8) was eliminated from playoff contention with the loss, which subsequently guaranteed Atlanta a playoff spot. The Falcons play Monday night against New Orleans. Rodgers’ second touchdown pass of the game, a 2-yarder to James Jones just before halftime, gave the Packers a 14-3 lead at the break. The Bears pulled within 14-10 in the third quarter when offensive lineman Edwin Williams recovered a fumble by Chicago running back Kahlil Bell in the end zone.

Giants 35 Aaron Rodgers led a 68-yard drive that set up Mason Crosby’s game-winning, 31-yard field goal as time expired, as the Green Bay Packers beat the New York Giants 38-35 to remain undefeated. The Packers’ march downfield came after New York (6-6) tied the game on the preceding drive after Eli Manning threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Hakeem Nicks, and D.J. Ware ran for the two-point conversion.

The Packers (11-0) remained unbeaten in part by intercepting Lions’ quarterback Matthew Stafford three times and turning those turnovers into 17 points. Detroit (7-4) tried to intimidate Green Bay’s offense and rough up Rodgers, but that strategy only resulted in personal foul calls and the ejection of Ndamukong Suh after he stomped on offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith.

Ben Roethlisberger threw for 263 yards and 2 touchdowns with 2 interceptions.
