Gopher Women's Basketball

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Michigan 60-50 at Williams Arena Sunday afternoon to get their 2nd straight win. Jackie Voigt and Kiara Buford each scored 11 points and Kionna Kellogg had 8 points and 13 rebounds for the Gophers.

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Northwestern 63-58 Thursday night to get their first Big Ten win this season. Katie Loberg led the Gophers with 21 points, Kiara Buford added 18 points and Kionna Kellogg added 8 points and 15 rebounds for Minnesota.

The Gopher women's basketball team is still winless in the Big Ten after losing 71-63 at home against Wisconsin Thursday night. Minnesota led 44-30 at halftime but were outscored 41-19 in the 2nd half.

The Gopher women's basketball team lost 58-54 at Penn State Thursday night. Kiara Buford led the Gophers with 19 points and Katie Loberg added 18 points for Minnesota.

The Gopher women's basketball team lost 47-42 Sunday afternoon in Madison, Wisconsin. Kiara Buford led the Gophers with 17 points and Minnesota shot just 28 percent from the field while Wisconsin shot 35 percent.

The Gopher women's basketball team lost 63-57 to #21 Iowa Wednesday night at Williams Arena. Leah Cotton led the Gophers with 18 points and Kiara Buford added 11 points.

The Gopher women's basketball team lost 80-79 to Indiana in overtime Sunday afternoon. China Antoine led Minnesota with 21 points and Katie Loberg added 15 points.

The Gopher women's basketball team defeated Northern Arizona 82-74 Wednesday night at Williams Arena. The win gave head coach Pam Borton her 173rd victory in her career as Gophers head coach and she became the all-time winningest coach in Gopher women's basketball history.
