Minnesota led 13-3 at halftime and held on in the 2nd half. Adrian Peterson ran for 171 yards on 27 carries and 1 touchdown plus he scored on a 2-point conversion. Kyle Rudolph was th top receiver for Minnesota with 7 catches for 64 yards and 1 touchdown for Minnesota.

Brian Urlacher and D.J. Moore each collected turnovers to stifle potential second-half touchdown drives, and the Chicago Bears beat the Detroit Lions, 13-7, in Chicago on Monday night. It was the fourth straight win for Chicago (5-1). The Bears led 13-0 when the Lions threatened in the third quarter, advancing the ball to the 1-yard line before Urlacher recovered a fumble by Joique Bell of Detroit (2-4). Quarterback Matthew Stafford drove the Lions back into the red zone three possessions later, only to have Moore intercept his pass from the 3-yard-line.

The Vikings won 20-13 at Detroit Sunday to improve to 3-1 on the season. Percy Harvin started the game with a 105-yard kickoff return touchdown and Marcus Sherels returned a punt 77-yards for a touchdown in the 3rd quarter. Blair Walsh made 2 of 3 field goals and Adrian Peterson ran for 102 yards on 21 carries for the Vikings. Christian Ponder was 16-26 for 111 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions. Jerome Simpson in his first game this season had 4 catches for 50 yards.
