The St. Cloud man involved in a five hour stand-off with police earlier this week has been formally charged.

A St. Cloud man accused of firing multiple gun shots over the weekend has been charged with multiple felonies.

Viking running back Adrian Peterson's attorney says he was a victim and a charge of resisting arrest is a "fabrication." Texas attorney Rusty Hardin released a statement Monday, two days after Peterson was released from a Houston jail. Peterson was arrested shortly after 2am Saturday and charged with resisting arrest after he allegedly pushed a off-duty police officer who was working security at the night club.
