Best Known For: A 10-time All-Star second baseman, Bill Mazeroski played for the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1956 to 1972. Mazeroski was on the Pirates’ teams that won both the 1960 and 1971 World Series. He hit the game-winning home run off Ralph Terry of the New York Yankees in Game 7 of the 1960 World Series. A peerless fielder, Mazeroski won eight Gold Glove Awards. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2001.
