The Vikings have reportedly released receiver Bernard Berrian. The 30-year old veteran has just 7 catches for 91 yards this season and has been inactive for 2 of the last 3 weeks. Berrian has spent the last 3 seasons with the Vikings. His best season in Minnesota was his first in 2008 when he had 48 catches for 964 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Berrian Still A Viking After Meeting With Frazier

Viking head coach Leslie Frazier met with receiver Bernard Berrian today after Berrian was inactive Sunday despite being healthy enough to play. Frazier would not indicate why Berrian was inactive Sunday either after the game or during his press conference Monday. He did say he needed to talk with Berrian and get on the same page with him. Berrian is expected to meet with Frazier again Tuesday.

The nine are running backs Derrick Locke of Kentucky and Matt Asiata of Utah, receivers Andre Holmes of Hillsdale College and Dominque Johnson of Cal Poly, tight end Allen Reisner of Iowa, kicker Nate Whitaker of Stanford, guard Conan Amituanai of Arizona, linebacker Larry Dean of Valdosta State, and defensive back Devon Torrence of Ohio State.
