The Twins lost 2-1 at Toronto Wednesday night to close the season with a 66-96 record. Brandon Morrow struckout 11 in 8 innings with 3 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win for the Blue Jays. Scott Diamond allowed 5 hits and 2 earned runs in 5 innings to take the loss and drop to 12-9. Ben Revere had 3 of the 4 Twins' hits and Matt Carson drove in the lone Twins' run.

The Twins defeated Texas 6-5 Sunday in Texas close a 10-game road trip with a 2-8 record. The Twins had lost 10 of their last 11 games heading into the game yesterday. Ben Revere went 4-4 with a triple, 3 runs scored and 1 RBI and Denard Span went 2-5 with 2 runs scored for the Twins. Cole DeVries threw 5 innings with 3 hits and 2 runs allowed (1 earned) to get the win and improve to 3-5. Glen Perkins threw a scoreless 9th inning to get the save, his 8th.

The Twins lost 5-1 at home against the Detroit Tigers Wednesday afternoon. Max Scherzer threw 7 shutout innings with 4 hits and 2 walks allowed with 10 strikeouts to get the win. Cole DeVries allowed 8 hits and 4 earned runs in 4 innings to take the loss and drop to 2-4. Miguel Cabrera hit his 30th homerun this season and has become the 1st Tigers player to hit 30 or more homeruns in 5 straight seasons.
White Sox Edge Twins 3-2
The White Sox down the Twins 3-2 Wednesday afternoon at Target Field. Alejandro De Aza had a infield single in the 8th inning scoring the go-ahead run. Scott Diamond allowed 8 hits and 3 earned runs in 7 1/3 innings to take the loss and drop to 9-5. Ben Revere went 2-4 to extend his hitting streak to 15 games and Danny Valencia hit a solo homerun for Minnesota.

The Twins defeated Baltimore 6-4 Tuesday night to win the first 2 games of the 4-game series. Minnesota broke the 4-all tie with 2 runs in the 7th inning. Ben Revere had the go-ahead RBI single in the 7th. Joe Mauer was 3-4 with 1 RBI and Ryan Doumit was 2-5 with 2 RBIs for the Twins.

The Twins won 4-1 at home against the Chicago White Sox Monday night. Francisco Liriano threw 7 innings with 4 hits and 1 earned run allowed to get the win and improve to 2-7. Minnesota scored 1 run in the 1st inning and added 2 more runs in the 2nd. Joe Mauer was 3-4 with a run scored and 1 RBI and Ben Revere was 4-5 for Minnesota. Cole DeVries earned his first major league win throwing 5 innings with 6 hits and 4 earned runs. Matt Capps recorded the final our for his 13th save.

The Twins Winter Caravan stopped in St. Cloud Wednesday night at Rivers Edge Convention Center. Current Twins players Denard Span, Ben Revere and Rene Tosoni were here along with former Twin Tony Oliva, broadcaster Dick Bremer and mascot T.C. Bear. The group signed autographs and held a program emceed by Bremer.

The Twins Winter Caravan will be stopping in St. Cloud at Rivers Edge Convention Center tonight. The program begins at 6:30 with doors opening at 5pm. A ballpark style meal will be served beginning at 5:15. Current Twins players Denard Span, Ben Revere and Rene Tosoni will be here along with former Twin Tony Oliva, broadcaster Dick Bremer and mascot TC Bear.
