The start of the Minnesota Vikings season continues to take a hit as the team announced Monday linebacker Anthony Barr will miss the rest of the season.
The NFL announced their pro bowl selections Tuesday. The Vikings had 4 players chosen. They include 3 on defense and 1 on offense. The 3 defensive players are Defensive End Danielle Hunter, Safety Harrison Smith, and Linebacker Anthony Barr. The lone offensive player chosen is receiver Adam Thielen.
Hours after the announcement of safety Harrison Smith going to the Pro Bowl, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and linebacker Anthony Barr will also head to Hawaii.
The Viking begin training camp practice in Mankato Friday after arriving today at Minnesota State. The Vikings have some key newcomers led by rookies Teddy Bridgewater, Anthony Barr, and Jerrick McKinnon and Minnesota also has free agent signee cornerback Captain Munnerlyn.
The Vikings agreed to sign first round draft picks quarterback Teddy Bridgewater and outside linebacker Anthony Barr. Bridgewater was selected with the 32nd pick in the 1st round while Barr was chosen #8 in the 1st round.
