Gophers’ Nolen Has Broken Foot

Gopher senior point guard Al Nolen has a broken bone in his foot and will require surgery on Wednesday. Nolen will have a pin put in his foot and no timetable for his return has been announced. Tubby Smith would not rule out a possible return for Nolen this season.

#17 Gophers Host South Dakota State Tonight

The 17th ranked Gopher men's basketball team will host South Dakota State tonight at Williams Arena at 7pm. Minnesota is 10-1 while South Dakota State is 8-3. The Gophers are expecting to get point guard Al Nolen back in the lineup tonight.
