Viking running back Adrian Peterson had misdemeanor resisting arrest charges dropped Tuesday stemming from an incident at the Houston Night Club on July 7. Peterson allegedly refused to leave the night club when originally asked and became combative with staff. Peterson was scheduled for a court appeared in Texas on Thursday.

The Vikings practice without start players running back Adrian Peterson and receiver Percy Harvin Thursday. Defensive tackle Letroy Guion (turf toe) also missed practice for the Vikings Thursday. Peterson sat out because of an illness but is expected to play Sunday against Detroit. Harvin missed a 2nd straight day of practice with an ankle sprain.
