ST. CLOUD - The St. Cloud Tech Tigers defeated the Rocori Spartans 34-20 for some prep football action this Saturday afternoon at Husky Stadium.

The Spartans opened the scoring with a four yard touchdown pass to Luke Asfeld to take a 6-0 lead.

Philip Amundson and the Tigers would waste no time responding on the ensuing kickoff, returning it 90 yards to give St. Cloud Tech a 7-6 lead.

Rocori would gain a 12-7 lead by halftime though, thanks to a 67 yard touchdown pass from Tim Hansen to Alex Budde.

The Spartans would add another touchdown to their lead in the third quarter, making it 20-7 before the Tigers came storming back.

A 50 yard touchdown run by Josh Schaefer, and a one yard touchdown run from Jay Kedrowski would tie things up at 20 by the end of the 3rd quarter.

In the fourth quarter the Tigers would add two more touchdowns to seal the victory. A 30 yard touchdown pass to Jay Kedrowski, and a four yard touchdown run from Austin Klaverkamp would make the final score 34-20 in favor of the Tigers.

The Tech Tigers move up to a 3-0 record after the game. Rocori will look for a win at home next week against the Alexandria Cardinals.
