St. Cloud State Celebrates Girls and Women in Sports Day [VIDEO]

 

ST. CLOUD – St. Cloud State University hosted a free fitness circuit event in Halenbeck Hall on Saturday afternoon to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day.

Girls and boys 14 and under were able to play basketball, volleyball, softball, golf and much more during the event. The first 175 participants also received a free cinch bag.

The event was held to celebrate girls and women in sports and to encourage healthy active lifestyles for children.

All participants and their families were invited to watch the St. Cloud State women’s hockey or basketball games after the event.

Husky Athletics, St. Cloud State Campus Recreation and Centra Care Blend all helped to host the event.
