St. Cloud Man to be Inducted into Baseball Hall of Fame

Bob Karn, Minnesota baseball Hall of Fame

ST. CLOUD – Six men will be inducted into the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame this weekend.

One of the inductees is St. Cloud’s Bob Karn.  He began playing amateur ball in 1955.  He’s also coached the Cathedral baseball team since 1970, leading them to seven state championships.

This year is the 50th anniversary of the Hall of Fame.  The induction ceremony and banquet are tomorrow (Saturday) night at the River’s Edge Convention Center, the home of the Minnesota Amateur Baseball Museum.
